Unable to access hive after pointing ADLS as default FS in hadoop

New Contributor

I need to set Azure data lake store as default file system in HDFS. I was able to do it after making the required changes in core site.xml file. But, hive is unable to intitialize after this.

Hive was looking for .gz file specific to tez in /hdp/apps/<version>/ folder. I copied them from hdfs into adls but it did not help because it is expecting the file owner to be the same as that of currently logged in user on the node. It throws an error “set owner - unknown UPN” when I try to change the permission on hdfs.

Kindly suggest to proceed further.
