Unable to connect Hortonworks on Azure

Unable to connect Hortonworks on Azure

New Contributor

Hello,

I am having an issue connecting to Azure.

I did install on the hortonworks VM on Azure, and when I try to SSH, I'm getting an error that the port has been closed.

In boot diagnostics, I the screen was showing error of “Probing EDD (Edd-off to disable)…. Ok. I also tested by creating a new virtual machine to which I got the same error.

I did contact the Azure team on this and they said Azure has limited support for hortonworks product.

Could you please help to connect to the sandbox.

Hi @Uday Allu. Verify that you are trying to ssh to the public IP. You also may need to verify port 22 is open. You can do this by checking the networking settings for your Azure account.
