Hi ,

 

Please help me resolve to the below issue - 

I am unable to connect to internet from VM. Below are some of the stats -

 

a) /etc/resolv.conf file content - 

 

# Generated by NetworkManager
search cloudera
nameserver 192.168.0.1
nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

 

b) Disable firewall and trying to connect to google

 

[cloudera@quickstart etc]$ sudo -su root [root@quickstart etc]# iptables-save > /root/firewall.rules [root@quickstart etc]# cat /root/firewall.rules

[root@quickstart etc]# chkconfig iptables off

[root@quickstart etc]# /etc/init.d/iptables stop

[root@quickstart etc]# nslookup

> server 8.8.8.8

Default server: 8.8.8.8 Address: 8.8.8.8#53

> www.google.com

;; connection timed out; trying next origin >

 

c) Route table information -

 

[cloudera@quickstart etc]$ sudo route -n
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
10.0.2.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 1 0 0 eth0
192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 1 0 0 eth1
0.0.0.0 10.0.2.2 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0

 

Please let me know how to resolve the issue
