Unable to execute sqoop commands in cloudera VM and root directory is full.

New Contributor

I have installed CDH5.10 on virtual box(10gb RAM provided) yesterday ,trying to run sqoop commands(sqoop list-databases) but getting following directory permission issue .
there is no directory as '/tmp/sqoop-cloudera/compile' , instead '/tmp/sqoop-sqoop/compile' directory is present (drwxrwxrwt 3 sqoop sqoop 4096 Jun 6 02:27 sqoop-sqoop),.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not create temporary directory: /tmp/sqoop-cloudera/compile/53ad2aff23e7d18fdb8f22cd5e754486; check for a directory permissions issue on /tmp.
