Unable to view the contents of the file in Hadoop console

Hello,

I need a help from some experts here for my issues. I have installed Apache Hadoop without Cloudera on Ubuntu with only masternode. The exact problem is, I can able to view the contents of the file from command line but I can't able to view the contents of the same file using Hadoop console. The error its showing is that "Couldn't preview the file". Another problem is, I couldn't able to download the file from the console. The error it pops up is that "safari can't find the server 'masternode'" 

Since I'm new to this Hadoop, so indeed I need your help;
