What is latest stable version of HDP which can be used in production ?

If you're planning to implement security features provided, like Kerberos, Ranger and Knox, then I'd recommend you to go with HDP 2.5 because in HDP 2.6, there are a number of changes that still need to be documented and you'd spend most of your time on unnecessary troubleshooting.
