What is the path for $HOME/hbase_collection_config in case of Cloudera Manager?

Explorer
solrctl instancedir --generate $HOME/hbase_collection_config

What should be the exact arugument in place of $HOME to create the core and instance dir and making changes in schema.xml and Morphline file for a cluster managed by Cloudera Manager?

 $HOME= /opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.15.0-1.cdh5.15.0.p0.21/lib/solr/

OR IT SHOULD BE

$HOME= /opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.15.0-1.cdh5.15.0.p0.21/etc/solr.

Kindly Suggest..

Hi Prabhat

solrctl instancedir --generate $HOME/hbase_collection_config

$HOME could be any local node path (for example: /tmp or /home/<user>). It will generate the configuration files for the collection.

Once you have done with the changes in the conf files. You can upload the conf to zk.

solrctl instancedir --create collection1 $HOME/hbase_collection_config

Hope it helps. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks

Jerry
