Hi @Judith Wewerka , can you try running the above command using sudo. Also, do not forget to replace the {Host-Name} with your actual hostname. Try this:

echo'{Host-Name}'| sudo tee -a /c/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc/hosts

@mrizvi : Yes, I replaced the Host-Name and with sudo it tells me command not found.

@Judith Wewerka , can you follow these steps:

  • Type Notepad in the search field and then right click Notepad and select 'Run as Administrator'
  • Now open the following c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
  • Add your hostname in this format - {Host-Name}
  • Lastly, save your changes.

We will test that command in the tutorial and will make necessary changes.
