Is the license the same for supported versus unsupported? We're using supported in prod and unsupported in dev and test and I need to understand if there are any license differences on installing and using the software. Are they the same and only the support is the difference between the two systems?
Hortonworks doesn't practice any licencing but for sure the support level for a Dev can be cheaper. Especially response time from Hortonworks engineers contrary to the prod where you can have a dedicated engineer and o. Site or phone support.
