While Running Yarn jobs, Yarn UI showing unnecessary applications. Why?

Running yarn jobs in HADOOP HA cluster, Yarn UI showing unnecessary launched applications. Not able to understand why its happening. Can anyone help me out with this. Attaching an image here.yarn-ui.png

It's hard to figure out from your screenshot what kind of applications these are. I'd recommend you to dig deeper, find out as much about these as you can: more application info, application logs, etc. Then you should be able to stop them from spawning.

@gnovak is it related to configuration settings? Can you help me out why yarn jobs getting stuck on 0% map?

You can figure that out from the RM UI, or the RM/application logs.
