Why HCatalog and WebHCat are not supported in HDP 3.0? What will be the alternative?

I have the same problem, a customer use API of WebHcat for create or drop a db/table on hive.
In HDP 3.0 using API what can be used for this operation?
I tried a find some info online but I did not find anything about it.

Could you please someone answer what could be the alternative for WebHCat???
