Could you help me, I have a full hard drive and it's taking up a lot of space in the solr directory
I don't know if I can remove it directly or how I should proceed.
You might want to take a look at the following article on Ambari-infra-Solr best practices.
This article has a dedicated section for the Disk Space the TTL settings.

I'm going to take a look at the best practices but right now I have my cluster stopped because one of the solr ate the entire hard drive as it was recovered.
