How are you doing you installs?  Are you copying and running this file?  http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/installer/5.11.0/cloudera-manager-installer.bin

If not, does your /etc/yum.repos.d/cloudera-manager.repo file have in it.

What command are you using to install.

Hi,

i have resolve my probleme :

I would install cm5.10.1,

I download repo fil:

https://archive.cloudera.com/cdh5/redhat/7/x86_64/cdh/cloudera-cdh5.repo?_ga=2.181277287.1158915307....

but change it :

--------------------------------------

[cloudera-manager]
name = Cloudera Manager, Version 5.10.1
baseurl = https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5.10.1/
gpgkey = https://archive.cloudera.com/redhat/cdh/RPM-GPG-KEY-cloudera
gpgcheck = 1

I am also having the same problem. Yesterday I successfully deployed a cluster using the cloudera director UI, but today when I try to create a new manager for another cluster I get a similar error as OP.

[2017-05-26 16:54:29.052 -0400] INFO  [io-thread-186] - - - - ssh:10.15.73.100: http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5.11/RPMS/x86_64/cloudera-manager-server-5.11.0-1...: [Errno -1] Package does not match intended download. run yum --enablerepo=cloudera-manager clean metadata

I tired running the suggested command "run yum --enablerepo=cloudera-manager clean metadata" on the coudera-director server, but that did not help.

Also i have created a repo file (/etc/yum.repo.d/cloudera-manager.repo) with below content, then ran command 'yum --enablerepo=cloudera-manager clean metadata' and then tried the installation but still no luck. I wanted to install CDH 5.7.1.

[cloudera-manager]
# Packages for Cloudera Manager, Version 5, on RedHat or CentOS 7 x86_64
name=Cloudera Manager
baseurl=https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5/
gpgkey=https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/RPM-GPG-KEY-cloudera
gpgcheck=1

You can install CDH5.7.1 to a CM5.11.0 setup.

Or

To install CM5.7.1  you need to change the line in your file etc/yum.repo.d/cloudera-manager.repo

baseurl=https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5/

to

baseurl=http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5.7.1/

the /5/ will always default to the LATEST release

The issue is still being investigated for a resolution.

Try this work around for the manual 'yum' install, I think it might work.

In the /etc/yum.repos.d/cloudera-manager.repo file,
REPLACE the line:
baseurl=https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/6/x86_64/cm/5/
with
baseurl=https://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/6/x86_64/cm/5.11.0/

Pointing specifically to the 5.11.0 directory.
