cloudera-scm-server core dumps when adding a large 200MB csd, How does one remove the problematic CS

New Contributor

I added a csd to the /opt/cloudera/csd directory.  It appeared to load fine according to the logs then the server core dumped

with a 1.4 gig out of memory error.

Please note that a supporting file in the aux directory was 200MB in size.

How does one go about unregistering the csd so the manager will remain up?

Deleting the csd from /opt/cloudera/csd did not solve the issue.

I seem to recall from the CSD docs that you'll need to restart cloudera-scm-server once to unregister the CSD, even if you've moved it out of /opt/cloudera/csd. I'll go reference them to ensure I'm remembering correctly.
