failed to start hive from root

From hdfs user:

hadoop fs -chown root:root /user/root

and then please run the hive shell again from root user.

chown: `/usr/root': No such file or directory

Direcotry name should be "/user/root" not "/usr/root"

can you please try to run these two hadoop commands from hdfs user?.

hadoop fs -mkdir /user/root

hadoop fs -chown /user/root
