hadoop high availability modules

Hello,

I am new to hadoop and I have few questions about HA. As far as I can see Namenode and Yarn have HA solutions. Can we implement HA to hiveserver2 using zookeeper ? Or any other module supports?

Yes. It is possible to setup Hiveserver2 HA. Please follow the doc below to setup

In the Namenode and Yarn HA scenario One is in Active and the other in standby whereas in the case of HiveServer2 both are Active and if you are connecting to HiveServer2 through zookeeper it will pick the one which is available based on the traffic.
