hive view userhome check failed

hive view userhome check failed

Rising Star

Hi,

I have a kerberized cluster and trying to display hive view. I tried many things as explained in hortonworks documents bu couldn't pass this error.

Service 'userhome' check failed:
org.apache.hadoop.security.AccessControlException: Authentication required
at org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.web.WebHdfsFileSystem.validateResponse(WebHdfsFileSystem.java:460)
at org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.web.WebHdfsFileSystem.access$200(WebHdfsFileSystem.java:114)
at org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.web.WebHdfsFileSystem$AbstractRunner.runWithRetry(WebHdfsFileSystem.java:750)
at org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.web.WebHdfsFileSystem$AbstractRunner.access$100(WebHdfsFileSystem.java:592)
...

ambari-server principal is ambari-server-mycls, so I added "auth=KERBEROS;proxyuser=ambari-server-mycls" to WebHDFS Authentication part in Hive View config.

I created this hdfs folders (chmod and chown also)

/user/admin
/user/ambari-server-mycls

also added ambari-server-mycls user to linux system and created it's home directory.

I also added those lines to custom core-site of hdfs.

hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server-mycls.groups=*
hadoop.proxyuser.ambari-server-mycls.hosts=*

Am I missing something?
