how to handle dirty character in nifi

how to handle dirty character in nifi

New Contributor

Dear Community and Support team

I am using <UpdateRecord > for removing dirty character which is coming from MS SQL database but not able to catch

My Data Pipeline is as per below

QueryDatabaseTable==>UpdateRecord==>PutDataBaseRecord

so UpdateRecord is taking Avro format as input when i try to convert it in JSON i see the char as \u0000\u0000

but when i try to remove it with same char UpdateRecord is not able to catch it

My repalceRegex expression is like below ( i tried all combination) in UpdateRecord

replaceRegex(/bankruptcycode,'(\\u0000\\u0000 |

\u0000\u0000|

\\u0000|

\u0000|

/\u0000/\u0000)',

'null')

(just for clarity i am giving new line for each matching case else all above are in single line)
