is HDP free to install on aws ec2?

I was experimenting with hadoop spark setup on ec2.

Wanted to setup ambari , but it say's access restricted and you need to be HDP customer before installing.

 

I am puzzled as I thought Apache Ambari is opensource and available to install freely.
