oozie coordintor and _SUCCESS file

oozie coordintor and _SUCCESS file

Contributor

Hi all,

I've created an Oozie coordinator with synchronous dataset with a default done-flag. According to the oozie documentation:

done-flag: The done file for the data set. If done-flag is not specified, then Oozie configures Hadoop to create a _SUCCESS file in the output directory.

I'm using flume to collect data into directory in this format:

/flume/%Y/%m/%d/%H

The problem is that _SUCCESS is not being created.

@Zaher

To generate the _SUCCESS file into directory structure, after flume collect data, you can use Oozie FS action with "touchz" command once data collection process workflow is successful. This will help to generate the _SUCCESS file into directory.
