New Contributor

When I try to install new oozie sharelibs I get prompted with a password.

Example:

root@myhost:/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.4.4-1.cdh5.4.4.p0.4/bin#

sudo -u oozie ./oozie-setup sharelib create -fs localhost -locallib /home/myuser/MyApplication/1.0.0.1/share.tar

Password:

So I tried without oozie user i get the error in red below:

./oozie-setup sharelib create -fs localhost -locallib /home/myuser/MyApplication/1.0.0.1/share.tar

Master Guru
Do you have special security software preventing use of full powered 'sudo' as root? You could alternatively try logging in as 'oozie' via 'su' first and then run the commands.
