Re: sas embedded process Error

Is this a custom service you're writing? If so, you need to ensure its metainfo.xml has versionAdvertised=false for each of its components since it does not ship with the HDP stack and does not have a symlink /usr/hdp/ Then restart ambari-server

If this is not a custom service:

What's happening is that Ambari things this component needs to advertise a version, typically during a restart command. To do so, it calls "hdp-select status <comp>"

Run that command manually and make sure it is using 2.4.0.0-169 Also, ensure you have enough disk space, since Ambari needs to update the version value in /var/lib/ambari-agent/data/structured-out-*.json
