how to start spark on CDH 5.12 manually, I have tried to change the spark-env.sh file but it is showing that you don't have permission to edit this file. how to change the permissions ? and how to start spark after that ???

Hi sai,

 

Using the ls -lrt command you can view the file permissions. Use the chmod command to change the file permissions of the file.
