Hi,when I am trying to export hive table into teradata it is taking 0 instead of \001 as delimiter.

sqoop export --connect jdbc:teradata://dwdev/DATABASE=dataqa_sbx --username ******* --password ********** --table account_activated --export-dir /user/root/kpv1 --num-mappers 10 --input-null-non-string '\\N' --input-null-string '\\N' --input-fields-terminated-by 001 --verbose.

Try a slightly different syntax and see if it works for you:

--input-fields-terminated-by "\00001"

(I tested it on a Sqoop import, but should work the same for export)

Hi, Thanks for the reply. i am seeing the same issue. it is not accepting " or ' around the delimiter. i gave just \00001. it is still taking the 0 as delimiter.

thanks
