/tmp Directory in Local File system

Recently I started seeing few huge files tmp.**** in the local /tmp. I started getting file system alert from OS. These files are owned by hdfs user.

Any insights ?

I just opened this file and saw the following header :

Path Replication Modification TimeAccess TimePreferred BlockSizeBlocks CountFileSize NSQUOTA DSQUOTA Permission UserName GroupName
