we would install kerberos client package on this new analytics server by yum install krb5-workstation krb5-libs krb5-auth-dialog. after install Alpine software-- one of the analytics software, we will edit Edit the <installation directory>/shared/ldap.properties.

we just like to know if any extra steps needed to install kerberos client package on any new machine which would work with cluster.

I have not done this for alpine but package wise, this looks good. However, you would need to give Alpine Data principal (whatever it is) appropriate permissions in hadoop core-site.xml (auth to local and likely impersonation also).
