it does't works, even i was getting error to install hdfs-client, hive-client, mapreduce2-client

it was fresh installation, so why do i need to make those links?

Bob, those aren't commands to create links. Those are commands to verify the directory listings.

1. If have two hdp.repo files remove one.

2. Is this a fresh installation ?

i was not sure why i'm getting base urls two different versions in two different files.
