When Active Resource Manager and Stand by Resource Manager both are made down
and when ZKFailoverController are up and running in all nodes.
why ZKFailoverController is not able to bring resource manager to up.
how can we bring resource manager to up ? is there any property to check
If the components are shutdown manually (gracefully) then they wont get restarted by ZKFC.
However Ambari provides a feature called as "Service Auto Start" where if some components goes down *Abnormally* Unintentionally (means without manually gracefully shutting down them using API call/Ambari UI) .
Then ambari will trigger a restart instructions for those commands to restart them.
Please note that: Auto start of a component is based on its current state and "desired state". So if you manually stop the services/components then the auto start may not work because the agent compares the current state of these components against the desired state, to determine if these components are to be installed, started, restarted or stopped.
