Yes, you can
I haven't tested, but that should work.
What is your goal in this excercise, though? Are you seeking to remove all Hue superusers, or, are you just looking to delete the original superuser?

Our current server /cluster will be given to some other team.
The objective is to remove all Hue super users. Is it possible to bring the Hue back to fresh installation state?

I don't think you can achieve this directly via the UI or command line hue commands since a user cannot delete itself.
If you want a fresh Hue (containing no users, saved queries, etc.) , you can drop the database and recreate it. That is only if you don't need any of the old Hue stuff.
If you need some guidance about how to do this, the following has instructions (you could follow the instructions only for Hue in this case)
When Hue starts for the first time will create the necessary tables, schema, etc.
Not knowing the specifics of what you need from the old Hue to be saved, please proceed with caution and back up your Hue database you anticipate any need for the old data.

If you just want to remove hue superusers, follow these steps:
You can check in hue's database, the useradmin_userprofile table will not have deleted users.
If you want to keep those users but revoke the superuser status, you can just select the user, click "Advanced" then uncheck the "Superuser status", click "Update User" button.
Hope this helps!
