View SQL for Hive job

In HUE's Job Browser, I can see jobs, which for us is a bunch of different hive queries submitted by several users. How can I view the SQL for a given job_id? When I see a query that's been running for a long time, I want to know what it is.

Please try click on the job, then open its "metadata" tab. In this tab, search for property "query.string". Its value should contain the full SQL.

If there is no way to do this, having confirmation of that would also be helpful.

Yes, or you need to look at the Query history in the Hive Editor

I am not sure what you mean when you say metadata tab as I see no tab named metadata after clicking on the job. Thanks

Indeed. There is no metadata tab. It is really annoying that it is nearly impossible to find your own queries in this. Also the filtering options are not great.
