end users are trying to run Hive queries and they are are getting "User not found" in the yarn logs.

What we are seeing is our end users are trying to run Hive queries and they are are getting "User not found" in the yarn logs. These users are authenticating via the non-centrify AD groups listed in Cloudera Manager. They also don't have Linux user accounts on the cluster nodes. How can we make that user to acess the tables in database in hue without creating linux user for them. And they can query the tables if they put limit on the table.

Are you using a cluster with Kerberos?

You have 2 possibilities:
- add all users and groups to each Linux host
- use ldap group membership config in hdfs, but then they need ldap with
all users and groups and have it sync with Hue
