We are looking to build a hadoop cluster using CDH. I see that there are various versions of CDH (5.5,5.6,5.7,and 5.8).
Besides the hadoop ecosystem components that are bundled differently between each version, is there a versioning nomenclature that is used to indicate whether a version is more stable than another? Furthermore, is there a public roadmap that is available?
