I am on CDH 5.7.1.

Went to $SPARK_HOME/sbin but I do not see start-thriftserver.sh.

I have a use case that uses the Spark's Thrift server exposing Hive tables to my web application. Is this script avilable by default or do we have to install/configure - to get this script?

I believe thrift server was added in CDH 5.7.
