We have like 20 flume agents running - 1 agent per kafka topic.

I heard that only one agent can be configured/seen inside flume in cloudera manager.

We saw that we can configure flume agents as a service in CM, but having 20 of them will clutter up the interface. And we could have more agents in the future.

Also the metrics for the flume agents are not showing correct information in CM. So not sure if it is worth it to control flume agents from CM.

So would like to hear from other members how they manage flume agents - start, stop, monitor etc.
