Hi @Shrikant BM This is sort of expected following taking a few snapshots, the /apps/hbase/data/archive location stores raw data for your snapshots but also holds HFiles that are left over after a compaction operation, these are normally cleared automatically unless they are referenced by a snapshot in which case they will remain in the archive folder, so the more snapshots you keep the more archive folder will grow. You can clean older snapshots you don't need anymore. If you need to keep them, you may want to be making incremental backups rather than snapshots.

@bangalore SubbU You might be interested in the available documentation on using custom properties (https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/user-guide.html#Using_Custom_Properties) via:
Variables window in the NiFi UI (https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/user-guide.html#Variables_Window) nifi.properties as suggested earlier (https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/administration-guide.html#custom_properties) Note that NiFi automatically picks up new or modified variables created in the UI (no restart required).

Hi @Jonathan Sneep Fine. thanks. I have added the user and group info to my namenode. So the typical way to adding the new user or group is creating the user and group on namenode, and waiting for usersync to sync the user info to Ranger? So if I don't care the group policy, creating internal user in ranger and specifying them in allow conditions also works? At least it seems work in practice..

This is permission issue for postgresql user, I faced this issue on docker environment, I managed it by using Mariadb as Database for Ambari. You need to manage user and permission very carefully with Postgresql. (Using mariadb its easy)

Hi @Seongmin Park The "NiFi Flow" itself is also a process group, see on the left hand side when you log in, note the Process group ID that belongs to my NiFi Flow. I will also set a var on the NiFi Flow and retrieve it with REST: Setting a random var on it; And getting the variable data of the NiFi Flow over REST: [root@c3175-node4 ~]# curl -i -X GET http://172.25.35.14:9090/nifi-api/process-groups/dadadbcd-0164-1000-16c1-6c50ce94361e/variable-registry

Hi Jonathan Finally Issue is resolved now. Initially, I tried hdp 2.6 in RHEL 7.2 it gave me the error. So i tried using RHEL 7.4 Hope its due to compatibility issues. everything is fine in RHEL 7.4 One quick question to you. Is compatibility matrix link available for partners in community site? When I checked it asked for customer login or employee login. Any sugestions. Thx Muthu
