thanks @cduby, I see what you're saying. Let me check what I need to use for source type in my case.

If the token can be retrieved from an external resource via static credentials, you can use a separate InvokeHTTP processor to perform the authentication and load the token into flowfile content, which is then fed to the follow-on InvokeHTTP processor to perform the actual request.

@Pierre Villard has a good example of using OAuth 1.0 to generate credential material and then use that in a follow-on request.

Was the HTML content actually valid XML? Did the content viewer open? If so, is the content viewer unable to show the content in it's 'formatted' form? What about the 'original' or 'hex' forms?

Once Atlas has ingested data , say hive table, one can use Atlas to specify security policies on it through Ranger. How does Ranger know which entities to apply policies on ? By using "tags" .An entity(hive table for example) can be tagged . This tag appears in Ranger and you can enforce policies on entities tagged with that tag. Please refer http://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/tag-based-policies-atlas-ranger/

The ranger audit logs were going in but there were so many the hive entries did not appear on the first page even when looking at ranger right after the query. After filtering by ServiceType hive and Result: Denied I was able to find the denied query:

I reimported the virtual box VM and the default password works. However the security constraint requires you change the password.

@cduby For provisioning of cluster there are multiple options you can go with. below are few - 1. Using Cloudbreak, pls check link - http://hortonworks.com/apache/cloudbreak/ 2. Using Sahara, pls check link - http://docs.openstack.org/developer/sahara/userdoc/overview.html 3. Using Blueprint, pls check link - http://crazyadmins.com/automate-hdp-installation-using-ambari-blueprints-part-1/ [For more information adding @Kuldeep Kulkarni]

Glad that you tried resetting the property to check the actual issue. I think the actual issue was, the way you tried to access the hive entities from UI. You could have tried DSL search like below.

@cduby Sorry for posting to this closed issue. I'm interested to know if you were truly able to deploy this way though. I have never done a Cloudbreak installation to Openstack with Isilon, so I'd love to find out more about what you did.
