Since reading several articles on fair scheduler, I am still at loss, if there are not preemptive stuff configured, and user A is looking for all the available resources and still needs more , and than user B, submits a job, would fair scheduler allow B to start obtaining containers as soon some containers are freed by A, Or B would wait for all the running and requested containers for B are done? Since documents say set directory permission to 700 for datanode data directories( owned by hdfs), and Yarn/Node Manager/Containers will run as mapred userid, then how do mapred programs access blocks , based on my understanding mapred user wont be able to do ls -ltr ${dfs.datanode.data.dir} ? Hi   I had hiccup on install for Cloudera live on gogrid, upon discussing with gogrid - they helped install 4nodes , but how do I enter into demo and start working on it?   As of now what I see is 4 nodes ( 1 master and 3 agent nodes) on grid tab on gogrid gui.  How Do I launch demo?   And waiting on gogrid tech support to call back for last 12 hours..   Appreciate the help!!   Regards, Dev ...
