Sorry @Consult I did not notice your question until now. The business case is simple. Now a days many people do not use password to login to their window workstation. They use pin/with PIV card, face id, finger print, etc. to login to desktop. Some government agancies do not even give password to users to enforce users not to use password. Now after login to the desktop account, the user need to login to cloudera CM with the same AD account they used to login to windows. but they don't have the password for the AD account, what can they do?

@Consult I found the solution. The sqoop command creates a YARN process, type MAPREDUCE. So if we only kill the processes through unix shell, this YARN process will continue to run at the background. So from the cloudera manager, we go to YARN --> Applications and then we kill the YARN process. .

Hi @csegokul It sounds weird Hue behaves this way, I have never heard such thing that you need to logout and log back into Hue to get Hive results, something is not correct. Did Hue report any issues/errors in the interface? Cheers Eric

As @Consult mentioned, you can use the Cloudera Navigator UI to query for Hive audit events, in the Audits tab. Each audit event is associated with the username and the IP address of the client request. This should help you to get an idea of who runs the most queries.
