Hi, We need to review the Resource manager logs to look for the Errors if any,. Also we need to view the Resource manager webUI to check for the resource utilization and Memory utiilization in queue wise on the jobs submitted. Thanks AKR

I was able to stop services, amberi-agent on node and was able to delete node. Installed the deleted services on another node. Thank you @Jay SenSharma

Yes. Datanode and nodemanager usually colocated. So, if you have 40 datanodes, then deploy 40 nodemanagers on these 40 datanodes. If you have some data that sit on the node that does not have nodemanager, then those data have to be transferred which increases the running time.

@Huahua Wei HBaseStoragehandler is what is required to read HBase tables. At the end of the day, you first have to create and manage HBase and then use Hive. Since, you are going to be doing updates, this might be the best way to go about it but I would strongly recommend to look at the following approach. The reason is probably my personal preference of not using HBase until required as it is complex and skill set required to successfully implement is difficult to find.
