Is there a way to bring a node running HDFS and Impala Daemon out of service gracefully without impacting Impala queries? From what I understand, putting a node into maintenance merely stops Cloudera Manager from sending out notifications around health checks. As for stopping services based on a node's role, It's unclear whether it does so gracefully at first glance. It's also unclear whether these services are setup to start on boot. Would appreciate any feedback from the community on the proper process as my end users are gun shy about impacting running service.
