Hi,   I having the same issue. It looks like exactly the same issue as the client is running outside of Hadoop so obviously no NN or RM on the applcation node. Trying to access a Kerberized Hive cluster and run into    (java.io.IOException) Can't get Master Kerberos principal for use as renewer   So does this mean I either have to install node manager on the server on which this application is running? the other suggested solution is to add Yarn gateway to this host.
