Thanks Peter Kim, Correct me if I my understanding is wrong, spark-shell --jars "location" of jar files --master "yarn" is this command correct? Do I need to write anything else along with --master "yarn" this for Yarn

Hi, I have a .jar file in one of the location (local or cluster) and I want to run that file using spark-shell in Yarn mode.. Can any one help me with this?? Thanks

Thanks Lester Martin, I have installed Hortonworks HDF_2.1_docker_virtualbox_25_05_2017_13_03_38_ambari vm for my machine.. IP address generated after running is 127.0.0.1:18888/. Can you help me with this too..

Hi Team, I am planning for HDPCD certification spark exam. My system config is 8GB Ram I5 6th generation. I am not able to open the HortonWorks sandBox, Can you please provide me any other VM or can you provide me with some installation guide so that I can practice for Spark exam.
