As this is an older thread which was previously marked 'Solved', you would have a better chance of receiving a resolution by starting a new thread. This will also provide the opportunity to provide details specific to your environment (for example, what happened once you added the affected user accounts with "normal" command add user on all nodes) that could aid others in providing a more relevant, accurate answer to your question.

@Sam Red I don't know whether you love firefox but, most members find the firefox config easier to setup. Once you kerberise your cluster,to access the UI, you will need a valid ticket on your laptop to access these kerberised UI's.

If Kerberos is enabled.Try the below steps:- 1)ambari-server setup-security 2)Enter choice, (1-5): 3 3)Enter ambari server's kerberos principal name (ambari@EXAMPLE.COM): ambari-serve-xxx@REALM.COM 4)Enter keytab path for ambari server's kerberos principal:/etc/security/keytabs/ambari.server.keytab 5)Restart ambari server: ambari-server restart.
