Atlas is running fine in Ambari and I can successfully import metadata into Atlas from Hive. However apart from this initial load metadata is not kept in sync when new objects are created. I have checked the Ranger policies for HBase and Kafka are appropriately set. Any advice here would be appreciated. Am working through this tutorial and first time I started Atlas it worked fine, running on VMware on a Mac. After coming back to it a day or so later I am unable to restart the Atlas Metadata Server from Ambari. I have Kafka, Hbase, Ambari Infra and Ranger all running but the Atlas Metadata Server refuses to co-operate. It restarts but then almost immediately drops.
