Hi guys, I have been trying last couple of days to install HDP 2.5 in 2-3 nodes. I have followed all instructions written in the documentation exactly. But cluster installation always fails. 1. I have setup password-less ssh from server to other nodes 2. hostname and hostname -f returns the hostname of this machine 3. All hostnames of the nodes are written in /etc/hosts of all machines 4. 127.0.1.1 removed 5. Firewall turned off I have experience with installation of Hadoop 2.7 + HBase + Spark + Hive +Phoenix many times. The Hadoop 2.7 cluster without any distribution is working perfectly. But I wanted to switch to a distribution like HDP. But the installation seems impossible on Ubuntu 14.04. I tried both Sever and Desktop version. Is there anyone who can help me with this? If I can't solve this issue I have to move to other distributions. bootstrap.err file: I don't know why "password File null using tmp" is in the file.
