Hello, i'm installing a CDP Private Cloud Base 7.1.7 cluster and i have to enable Auto-TLS feature (Use case 2) as described in the cloudera documentation: https://docs.cloudera.com/cdp-private-cloud-base/7.1.7/security-encrypting-data-in-transit/topics/cm-security-use-case-2.html At the step 5 of the procedure is possibile to use the optional argument --trusted-ca-certs that as described is an optional argument, and if it is given, then ca-certs.pem should point to a PEM-formatted file containing one or more root CA certificates. About this i have two questions: 1. Do have i to add also the RootCA used to sign the Intermediate CA certificate? 2. In general why should I add more trusted root CAs? Is it necessary for external client connections that use a specific RootCA? Thanks.

Hi, we would like to install Cloudera CDP 7.1.7 SP1 using a Powerscale Storage with OneFS 8.2 or 9.2. Is there any limitations about the Cloudera CDP Runtime features? (Es. Kudu, HDFS ACL, etc.) I can't find any compatibility matrix for this purpose. Thanks in advance.

Hi, we would like install Cloudera CDP 7.1.7 SP1 on linux host with Linux Centos Stream 8.x. The information in Cloudera's support matrix is generically "Centos". Can we consider them valid for Linux Centos Stream 8.x? Thank you.

Hello, we want to migrate data from an open source Atlas 1.2.0 to an Atlas in version 2.1.0 included in our Cloudera CDP 7.1.7 cluster. In addition, the versions of solr and hbase of the source cluster are Solr 5.5.1 and Hbase 1.1.0. To migrate Atlas data, is it sufficient to perform a backup of the hbase tables from the source hadoop cluster and a restore on the target CDP cluster hbase? Is it necessary to backup and restore Solr collections as well? I know that the Solr 5.5.1 of the source cluster is not compatible with the Solr 8.4.1 of the target cdp cluster, so if possible I would like to avoid the export/import of the collections and perform an indexing of solr after the migration of the Hbase tables . Is this the correct procedure to follow? Thanks in advance. Ivo
