Hi everyone, i want to start all the services in ambari in time inrevals in autmated way. like i need all the services to start daily at 7am and i want to stop at 5pm. so that i will start the ec2-instances at 6:30am and i will stop those by 5:30pm. can you please help me out. thanks in advance

Hi, i have setup 7 node cluster on google cloud.3 masters(m1,m2,m3),3 worker(w1,w2,w3),1 edge node(e1). i have instaled 3 data nodes and 3 node managers in 3 worker node(w1,w2,w3). in (w2) worker node the node manager is going down continuously.when it was in stop mode i am able to start it. but after some time the node manager is going down. please help to solve this issue. Thanks in advance

Hi, i copied file1 of 512MB to hdfs at that time the block size is 128mb replication factor is 3. after some time i have changed block size to 64mb using dfs.blocksize. again i have copied one more file i.e file2 which is again 512 mb now the file2 each block size is 64mb. now my question when i changed block size 128mb to 64mb what will be the file1 block size? does it change to 128mb to 64mb or it will continue as 128mb only? please help me out Thanks in advance

How does yarn or mapreduce gets to know how much resources is given by particular job? I have a dev team and test team.and i have allocated 20% resources to test team and 40 % resources to dev team. when test team launch 1 job and dev team launch 1 job. How does yarn or mapreduce gets to know test team having 20% resources. dev team having 40% resources?. and how to see which team has launched which job?
