At some point during the authoring process, you may have to stop working on an article intended for publication in the Cloudera Community and come back to it later. In this blog post, we will describe a simple three-step process for finding your draft article in the Cloudera Community after you've saved it.

Community profiles are a good way for members learn more about each other. The new reputation system is live, and we’ve moved all legacy Hortonworks Community Connection (HCC) badges over to the new Cloudera Community! The reputation system is our way of rewarding members for continually supporting the three pillars of our community by:

• being inquisitive (asking questions)
• being generous (answering questions and sharing expertise)
• being grateful (marking answers as solutions, giving kudos for content).  

As we mentioned in "Community Reputation: What You Need to Know" the Community reputation is comprised of several parts: community ranks, badges, and leaderboards. In this blog post we will focus on Community Leaderboards.

In the Community Merge announcement, we shared exciting news that the Cloudera Community and Hortonworks Community Connection (HCC) will unite our content and members under one roof.

The purpose of this article is to show you how to activate your HCC account in the new Cloudera Community.

In a previous article we outlined how community members can navigate the redesigned community. Once members understand the new boards structure and how to find content that interests them, they will want to stay up to date when new content is posted. Members who have been with the community for a while may have noticed, the restructuring removed many of the boards they had subscribed to previously. It will be important for them as well as new members to create or update their subscriptions to remain informed on their topics of interest. Let's discuss how to subscriptions and notifications work on the redesigned community. 

As part of the community redesign, we have also updated how members will post and navigate on the community. Our previous design had over 20 different forum boards which could be confusing when a single question could apply to several of them. To simplify things we placed all the support types questions into a single board and use the labeling system to filter the posts. Let’s look at the different navigation methods available. 

This community now features a modern look and a simplified experience that makes it easier to find what you need, when you need it. Below is all the information you need to know to get started and get engaged.

As part of our new and improved Cloudera Community, we are thrilled to introduce an updated Reputation Program. This program features more fun ways to recognize your contributions and participation!

Last month in the “Our community is getting a little larger. And a lot better.” announcement, we shared exciting news that the Cloudera Community and Hortonworks Community Connection (HCC) will unite our content and members under one roof! 

We will update and modernize the existing Cloudera Community at the end of July and fully transition all HCC content in mid-August. Here are more important details you’ll need to know to prepare!

As we mentioned in the previous announcement there are few similarities and changes you should know about as we prepare for a Cloudera Community redesign and migration of the Hortonworks Community Connection (HCC) mid-August 2019. 

We’re excited to announce the Cloudera and Hortonworks communities will merge this summer! You will first notice the design upgrades to the Cloudera Community in late July, followed by more members and content in early August after the merge with Hortonworks Community. 

We’re ushering in the unified Cloudera Community with enhanced designs, upgraded functionality, and across-the-board improvements to make your experience even better. This revamp allows us to more easily provide quality answers, expertise, self-help, peer-to-peer discussion, and customer journey support.
