Re: Free the impala resident memory without restarting the impala service

@Tim Armstrong Sorry, so i'm missing something that i can get it in the documntation.

 

Please see below what i see in cloudera manager about the resident memory and what i see in the impala UI about the memory, both are for the same node.

 

1- I don't see the numbers are pointed the same.

 

2- Still don't understand the reason that impala resident 28G memory on a single node and i only see 3.6 used by the impala daemon for the queries.

 

3- Is it looking for you normal behaviour?
