Does Cloudera 6.3.3 supports AIX (002156) 7.1 OS version?

We are planning to upgrade our Cloudera cluster from 5.8.4 to 6.3.3, but our OS is in IBM AIX, just want to know if it is still supported by the new version of Cloudera?

Hi @Mondi

We support: RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu and Debian on CDH 5/6.

Specifically for Cloudera you can see the detail of the supported operating systems here:

https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/release-notes/topics/rn_consolidated_pcm.html#cdh_cm_supported_os

I hope that helps!

Steve

Hi @Mondi

No, CDH 6.3.3 does not support AIX.

The Cloudera Enterprise 6.3.x Supported Operating Systems are listed here:

https://docs.cloudera.com/documentation/enterprise/6/release-notes/topics/rg_os_requirements.html#c63_supported_os

Regards,

Steve

@Ste  Hi Steve. Cloudera 5.8.4 is our existing version of cloudera, and it is running thru AIX 7.1 version. Does the other lower Cloudera version supports AIX?
